Difficulty Comes

Please continue to pray for us. I met with the foundation lawyer this morning to talk about how we will move forward. There are currently not any places available.

Today, will be a difficult day. When the kids come running to meet us expecting to come in to our centre & see things beginning to be packed up they will be sad. We have until Thursday evening to have everything out & this location for our centre closed.

So many people in the village are sad & want us to stay. I have personally met with 5 people who have said they will be activity searching for potential places we could have our new community centre.

The waiting is always the difficult part.

"I wait for the Lord to help me, and I trust his word."
Psalm 130:5 NCV

"I look up to the hills, but where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you be defeated. He who guards you never sleeps." Psalm 121:1-3 NCV

I still yelled out in anger then held back tears in sadness while driving to the community centre today (Psalm 10:1-3). When I arrived to meet some of my staff we were speechless, some held back tears, as we just talked through things. We were honest with each other sharing our anger & sadness, but moved into the hope of possibilities.

As we finished talking I prayed a blessing over the landlady who allowed us to used her home for over 4 years & that all the renovations we (my staff, the ywam DTS teams, the Christian school, friends & myself) did you be a great thing for the landlady's kids who will move in. I asked that God would stir the people in the village to want to work with us & find a place for us. Then we started packing boxes. Our hope is that the people in the village to take ownership in our centre as we serve them.

Here is car load 1 of 4 of our community centres stuff that we took to store until a new place is found.
