Stood
in line at immigration for 2 hours. Waited until my number was called
for them to say the brand new change is that we need to leave Thailand
go to another country & re-apply for a new visa 7 days from now.
This is an unexpected change, but praise God everything will workout...
While waiting for our 7 day visa extension I was able to watch & congratulate Thai officers receiving awards this morning. I was able to help take pictures & quietly prayed for them all...
I still have to wait for another 2-3 hours. Feelings blessed today. Please pray for our needs...
Well waited another hour for the officers to tell me that they cannot give us a 7 day extension until we cancel our visas. Then they can give us 7 day extension, then we have to get exit visas so we can leave the country. The officers were very kind as they explained it all to me. As I was talking to them prayed again for them because being an immigration officer would be a very difficult job. The life of a child of God means change & total dependence on Him...
The best options are Laos, Malaysia, Singapore...
I will meet with my language school director tomorrow to cancel my visa, figure out our options & then apply for visas to other countries along with booking flights/hotel...
