I am feeling discouraged. I received an email from the Thai moving company, Eagle Movers saying that to ship our belongings from Bangkok to Kentville we need to pay $29,000 USD . We already paid the amount originally in our contract over 8 months ago before they came to pack our home. Eagle Movers reassured us 2 months before & 1 month before packing day that they had a container/place for our belongings. Then 2 days after they packed up all our belongings we received an email saying that infact they did not have a container/place for our things.
Eagle Movers said we could wait, but would have to start paying storage fees. They did not say what their fees were & could be added to the extra price ($29,000 USD) they are already telling us.
I have contacted a shipping company In Saint John NB to help. But are not sure what or how they can do.
This is challenging when we have spent the last 13 years living & serving the poor in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia & the last 8 years the inner city poor in Chiang Mai Thailand.
We need a miracle. Please pray with us.
